Discover the ancestral know-how of the Balinese weavers (Sidemen)
attend the technique and process of textile tissue. It is an excellent opportunity to learn this ancient art, as well as to understand the role of textiles in the expression and recognition of spiritual beliefs.

2 hours walk in the Balinese countryside (Sidemen)
We take the farmers' path to admire the famous landscapes and the rice fields of Sidemen. Learn more about the Subak system and plantations, and see how farmers work in the fields. This walk is an opportunity to understand rural life and its social and environmental organization. We also take a look at the village to understand the local way of life and the role of specific buildings and temples in Balinese culture.
We adjust the course, duration and difficulty depending on the health of participants and weather conditions.

Buffet lunch
We invite you to a buffet lunch to savor Balinese cuisine while enjoying the landscape!

Program details 

• Activity: Visit of a weaving cooperative, followed by a 2-hour hike and a picnic in the nature of Sidemen.
• Duration: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (approximately 3 hours of activities in Sidemen).

We recommend that you start this program in the morning to take full advantage of the experience, because it includes outdoor activities such as hiking and picnic. Although it is possible to plan this in the afternoon, we do not recommend it due to the potential heat. Start early guarantees a more comfortable and pleasant experience.
