Embark on a traditional wooden boat for a leisurely 2km exploration of the Marais Poitevin, nicknamed the Green Venice. Guided by an experienced skipper, you'll glide along the tranquil canals of this unique marshland. Throughout the trip, the skipper will share insights into the local history, ecology, and wildlife of the region.
During the trip, the skipper will point out key features of the landscape, such as local flora, bird species, and the area's biodiversity. You will also learn about traditional land management methods and the conservation efforts underway to preserve this natural environment.
After the exploration, you will slowly return to the starting point, enjoying the surrounding scenery and having the opportunity to ask any remaining questions to your guide-helmsman.
