Description

Classic klotok/boat circuit - 3 days of exploration, this adventure takes you through Kalimantan rivers to discover its exceptional fauna and spectacular landscapes. For three days, you will have the opportunity to meet the orangutans in their natural habitat, to explore the jungle by boat and to enjoy a unique immersive experience.

Day 1: Airport-Tanjung Harapan-afternoon activities-night on the boat

Home at the airport. The team welcomes you to the airport and takes you to the boat (it takes about 20 minutes from the airport to the boat car park). Then you will have lunch on the boat and take advantage of the observation by the river. Some animals can be observed in their natural habitat, such as the proboscisis monkey, the long-tail macaque, birds, wild oranguts, crocodile, etc. The boat advances slowly and stops when the team sees something by the river.
Then, you will visit the Orangs-Outans on the stage of the station camp. After that, you will return to the boat and leave for the exploration of the afternoon. Then you will make night tracking to explore the fauna.
Finally, you will return to the boat, dine and spend the night on board the boat (L, D).

Day 2: Classic Klotok-Rehabilitation of the Orangs-Outans of Pondok Tanggui-Camp Leakey-Classic Klotok (B, L, D)

After breakfast on the boat, we will go up the current to Pondok Tanggui, the second rehabilitation center, where we can see many babies and juveniles in the food area around 9:00 am. Take advantage of your time while receiving information from your guide on orangutans. Then we will return to the boat at 10:00 am. Then, we will continue to go up the river to reach the culmination of the National Park, the "Camp Leakey". The boat will pass through the black water river, which is full of fauna and flora, such as many species of birds, primates, fish, as well as crocodiles.

Upon arrival at Camp Leakey, lunch will be served on board by our own cook. At 1:30 p.m., we will hike to attend the Orangs-Outans meal which will take place at 2:00 p.m. Take advantage of the orangutans feeding until 4:00 p.m., then go back to the boat and go down by boat to the first camp. Finally, you will spend the night aboard a classic Klotok, where you will dine.

Day 3: Return to airport

After breakfast, we will go hiking to the first Tanjung Harapan station at 7:30 am, where we will explore the jungle for a few hours. Then we will get out of the canoe jungle. Then we will return to the Klotok. After that, we will go down by boat to the city of Kumai, where we will be transferred to the airport. (B, l)
