This 4-day trek in Bukit Lawang immerses you in the heart of the Sumatran jungle. You'll explore Leuser National Park, observe orangutans in their natural habitat, and discover a rainforest teeming with wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. An ideal adventure for nature lovers and hikers.
Upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport, your guide will give you a warm welcome. You will then depart for Bukit Lawang. Along the way, you will make several stops to observe rubber and oil palm plantations. Later, you will reach Bukit Lawang and check into the Bukit Lawang Cottages Hotel or similar.
After breakfast, you'll head into the jungle to begin an exciting trek. You'll explore Leuser National Park and its diverse wildlife. You might even spot orangutans in their natural habitat. You could also see Thomas's monkeys, macaques, and various gibbons. You'll spend the night in a tent or forest shelter, with lunch and dinner included.
Your guide prepares breakfast in the jungle before continuing the trek. You then explore the rainforest for the rest of the day, observing the rich wildlife. In the late afternoon, you return to Bukit Lawang and spend the night at Bukit Lawang Cottages or similar accommodations.
After breakfast, you have free time. You can swim or take a walk by the river. Then, you continue your journey to Medan. Upon arrival, your guide will transfer you directly to the airport.
